“Transformations” – upcoming group exhibition at the Galerie

We are pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition “Transformations” at the Gallery Roi Doré, which will take place on Wednesday, 25th of July 2012 at 6:00 PM.

Exhibition from June 25th to August 7th, 2012.

The exhibition, curated by Janusz Skowron, is one of the editions of the exhibition “Transformations – Works on Paper”, presenting the works of artists from three art-groups: “Emotionalists” from New York, “KrakArt” from Los Angeles and “Via Varsovia” from Warsaw.

The winner of the 1st edition of the Contest was Janusz KAPUSTA, rewarded for his 4 works K-Nano.

The Contest was organized in honour of prof. Tadeusz Malinski, great Polish scientist and world pioneer of the nanomedicine. 

 Janusz Kapusta (born in Zalesie, Poland in 1951) – artist, painter, illustrator, scenographer and inventor of K-DRON, an 11-sided block with multiple artistic and practical applications. Since 1981, he lives in New York where he works as an illustrator for major American newspapers such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Boston Globe etc.

1o other artists were qualified for the final of the Contest.

The Galerie Roi Doré, located in the 3rd district of Paris, invites you to participate in the “NanoArt” Contest. Its final will take place on Thursday, May 31st, 2012, at the Gallery, which will be presented as part of the 4th edition of the “Journées Nomades” Festival.

The contest is inspired by the scientific research of Professor Tadeusz Malinski, a great Polish scientist, director of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Ohio University and world pioneer in the field of nanomedicine, twice nominated for the Nobel Prize in chemistry and medicine-physiology.
