Marek Haladuda

Marek Haladuda is a Polish painter, born in 1961 in Kozuchow, Poland. From 1981 to 1983, he studied pedagogy and culture at the School of Pedagogy in Zielona Gora and at the Mickiewicz University in Poznan. From 1983 to 1988, he studied at the National School of Fine Arts in Poznan where he graduated from the class of Professor Jacek Waltos. In 1989-1990, he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the studio of Albert Zavaro. In the 1990s, he started teaching, first painting and drawing at the High School of Fine Arts in Kolo and from 1995 to 2001 he was assistant to the IX Painting Studio at the Fine Arts Academy in Poznan. In 2005, he obtained a scholarship in France, as part of international exchanges between artists belonging to the Strasbourg Club. As a Ph.D. with habilitation in the visual arts, he teaches at the Fine Arts Academy in Poznan. Since 2013 he is head of the IX Painting Studio at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing of the Academy.

Marek Haladuda mainly practices oil painting, emphasizing rich and bright colors, but he also practices drawing. He considers that “a painting is a testimony not only of an intellectual reflection, but also of emotions, dreams, and intuition. Painting is like a painter’s journal. “
